Project Scope A ground-up, single-story hospital specializing in rehabilitation therapy with 52-inpatient beds and outpatient services. It contains a pharmacy, radiology department, clinical lab, kitchen, and dining for patients and visitors.
Patients will have access to a central physical therapy space with state-of-the-art equipment, robotics, transfer therapy, cooking therapy, and speech/audiology. In addition, activities of daily living spaces include a full kitchen and an apartment-style unit.
An outdoor therapy area provides a variety of surfaces and access to real-life outside activities. There will also be specialty therapy departments for brain injuries (with their own dining and therapy gym spaces), stroke and spinal court injuries, and a floor for general inpatient beds.
The hospital also includes a 48-bed behavioral health hospital for adolescents and adults. Each pod will have their own dining, laundry, and therapy spaces. They will have their own outdoor courtyards with calming, shaded areas for relaxation and areas for more active games such as basketball courts.
Facility includes a self-contained, outpatient department to provide a full compliment of behavioral health treatments for the community.
