Melissa moved to San Diego over 10 years ago and has lived in Spain, New York, Texas, Florida, Washington, and Colorado. She has worked as an office manager for the past 14 years and has loved learning about the various industries for which she has managed.

In her spare time, Melissa volunteers with multiple community theaters. Her happy place is in a theater acting onstage or directing a whole cast. She is also a company member for the Dinner Detective Murder Mystery Company.

Her favorite animals are elephants and dogs, and her dream trip is to go to Thailand to volunteer at an elephant sanctuary. She will just have to find someone to watch her German Shepherd, Luna!

Melissa joined Material Design Architects in May of 2023 and has thrived in her role. She quickly made friends with everyone in the office and taken ownership of her duties.
