Yamel brings over 17 years of experience specializing in diverse projects such as life science, mixed-use residential, retail, hospitality, and federal projects. A proven communicator and team player with a strong passion for continuous learning through industry seminars and training. Inspired by modernist principles of plan libre, as seen in the works of Mies van der Rohe and Le Corbusier. An active volunteer with Architecture for Humanity and the San Diego Architectural Foundation. Outside the studio, Yamel finds creative and physical balance through photography (both architectural and portrait), and enjoys playing guitar, practicing yoga, biking, paddleboarding, and hiking.
